What does PTA Mean? PTA is an acronym for Parent Teacher Association
Why should I join PTA?
PTA advocates on behalf of children and educators
PTA pays for multiple programs: art teacher, music teacher, computers and chromebooks, field trips
PTA organizes assemblies and events: APEX fun run, Team Soil BMX, holiday events (Halloween, Valentine’s Day), movie nights
PTA coordinates spirit wear, yearbook orders, teacher appreciation, open house, book fair
Receive discounts and deals to the member email address provided
Vote on issues and money allocation
Meet other parents, build rapport with principal and teachers
Make a difference and help our children succeed!
How much does it cost to join? You can join the PTA starting at $12/year
Do I have to be a PTA member to attend PTA meetings? No you do not have to be a member to attend meetings. You are welcome to come! However, non-members may not vote, nor may they serve on the board.
